Grade 5 and 6 Winter Camp

Our grade 5 and 6 students enjoyed 3 days of fun and fellowship at Camp Cedarwood.

Ensemble Caroling Monday, Dec. 19, our Ensemble choir sang at The Forks and at Deer Lodge Centre. The choir sang beautifully, and were encouraged by a large crowd of appreciative listeners at The Forks - nice to see many parents take in the performance. The choir was also warmly received at Deer Lodge Centre, and our students are grateful for the opportunity to spread Christmas cheer.

Hockey Rink! We are skating! Many hands have helped with the construction of the rink, but we want to especially thank Mark Bergman, Scott MacKenzie, and Jarrett Davidson. They have put countless hours into the project, and it looks fantastic! In the new year we will post a schedule.  Skaters must wear a helmet, and we welcome any parents who can help tie skates at 12:25.

GO GREEN... RECYCLE!!!

The AGASSIZ students participated in the Take Pride Winnipeg! 2010 Bag Up Manitoba - Plastic Bag Round-Up Challenge.  The students collected 9,067 bags and were awarded a Trex bench made out of recycled plastic. Thank you to everyone who collected bags. The overwhelming response is evidence that our students care about their community and environment.
